Manual therapy is a hands-on Physiotherapy treatment used to reduce muscle tension, ease joint stiffness and restore normal movement in the spine and peripheral joints. Through skilled mobilisation of joints and soft tissues, it promotes healing, improves circulation and relieves pain caused by injury, stress or poor posture.

If you are living with chronic pain or recovering from physical strain or injury, our manual therapy sessions are designed to provide effective pain relief, improve mobility and support long-term functional recovery.

Frequently asked questions

What techniques do you use?

Mulligan's joint mobilisation, the McKenzie technique, NAGS and SNAGs for the neck, trigger point release, and deep tissue and sports massage.

Can it help neck and back pain from desk work?

Yes. Posture-related pain is one of the most common problems we treat, and we combine treatment with advice to stop it returning.

How is it different from massage?

Massage works on muscles; manual therapy also mobilises joints and treats the underlying cause, based on a clinical assessment.
