When you contact us or become a patient, we may collect:

• Your name, date of birth, address and postcode
• Your phone number and email address
• Details of your symptoms, injury, medical history and the treatment you receive — this is health information, which is treated as a special category of data
• Your insurer and policy details, if you are claiming through private health insurance
• Records of our correspondence with you
• Technical and usage data collected by cookies when you use this website — see our Cookie Policy

We use your information to:

• Respond to your enquiry and arrange appointments — on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in running the clinic
• Assess, plan and provide your physiotherapy treatment, and keep accurate clinical records — as part of providing you with healthcare
• Process insurance claims on your behalf, where you ask us to
• Meet our legal, professional and regulatory obligations as Chartered, HCPC-registered physiotherapists

Because health information is a special category of data, we also rely on the condition in Article 9(2)(h) of the UK GDPR — the provision of health care and treatment by a regulated health professional — and on your explicit consent where that applies.

We treat your information in confidence and never sell it. We share it only where necessary:

• With the physiotherapists and clinic staff involved in your care
• With your private health insurer, where you are claiming and have asked us to
• With your GP or a consultant, where a referral is needed and you agree to it
• With trusted providers who act on our behalf under contract — such as our appointment-booking system, IT and website hosting — who may only use your data as we instruct
• Where we are required to by law, or to protect someone's safety

We keep clinical records for as long as professional and legal guidance requires — for adults, normally at least eight years after your last treatment, and for children until their 25th birthday. Enquiries that do not lead to treatment are kept for a shorter period, normally up to 12 months, and then deleted.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse or unauthorised access, and we review them regularly. Access is limited to the people who need it for your care or our administration.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
• Ask us to delete your information, or restrict how we use it, in certain circumstances
• Object to certain uses of your information
• Ask us to transfer your information to another provider
• Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it

Our website uses essential cookies to function and, with your consent, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used. Clarity records anonymised usage (heatmaps and session replays) with form fields masked, so your personal details are not captured. We do not use advertising cookies.
