Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about booking, costs, insurance and your first appointment. Can't find your answer? Just get in touch.

How do I book a Physiotherapy appointment at PhysiPro?

You can book online through our booking system, call or text us on 07818 099994, or send an enquiry via our contact form. Self-paying clients can book directly; insurance clients should call or email first with their policy details.

Do I need a GP referral to see a Physiotherapist?

No. You can book directly with PhysiPro without a GP referral. Our Physiotherapists are qualified to assess and treat you from the first appointment. Some insurers may ask for a referral to authorise a claim, so check with your provider.

What conditions can Physiotherapy treat?

Physiotherapy helps with back and neck pain, sports injuries, arthritis, post-surgical recovery, sciatica, tendon and joint problems, and a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. We create a personalised plan to restore strength, movement and function.

How much does Physiotherapy cost at PhysiPro?

An initial assessment and treatment is £55 (30 minutes) and follow-up sessions are £45. Home visits, shockwave therapy packages and injection therapy are priced separately. See our therapy costs page for the full list.

Do you accept private health insurance?

Yes. We work with Bupa, AXA Health, Aviva, Vitality, WPA, Healix and other major insurers. For insured appointments please contact us first with your policy number, authorisation code, number of sessions approved and any excess payable.

Where are your Physiotherapy clinics located?

We have two clinics in Hampshire: Basingstoke (Arena, The Square, Basing View, RG21 4EB) and Farnborough (Arena, Abbey House, Farnborough Road, GU14 7NA). We also offer home visits across the surrounding area.

Are weekend and evening appointments available?

Yes. We are open Monday to Friday 8:00am–7:00pm and Saturday 8:00am–4:00pm, so you can be seen before or after work and at weekends. Availability varies by clinic, so book online or call to confirm.

What should I wear and bring to my appointment?

Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. Bring shorts for lower-body treatment and a strappy top for upper-body work. Bring a list of your medications and any scan or MRI reports you have.

Can Physiotherapy help after surgery?

Yes. Post-surgical rehabilitation is one of our specialisms. We help restore strength, mobility and function while managing pain, working alongside your surgeon's protocol to get you back to normal safely.

How do I change or cancel an appointment?

Call or text us on 07818 099994, or email enquiry@physipro.co.uk, as early as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else. We will confirm the change with you.
