Frequently asked questions

How does acupuncture relieve pain?

It stimulates your body's natural painkillers (endorphins) and blocks pain signals, which is effective for back pain, sciatica and muscle tension.

Does it hurt?

No, we use very fine, sterile, single-use needles. Most patients feel only slight tingling and find sessions relaxing.

How many sessions will I need?

Some patients improve after one or two sessions; chronic conditions usually need a short course alongside Physiotherapy.
